Mongongo Oil, also known as Manketti Oil, is cold pressed extracted from the nut kernels of the Mongongo tree (Schinziophyton rautanenii), an endemic tree found only in the savannahs and deserts of Southern Africa.
Local people have been using it for millennia to protect their skin and their hair from wind, sun and dry weather. A rich, nourishing and mosturizing oil that has a natural smell of hazelnut and a light yellow greenish colour.
Mongongo Oil helps to improve the skin hydration thanks to the high content of Linoleic acid, Alpha Linolenic acid and Oleic acid, vitamins and minerals.
Its exceptionally high Linoleic acid content makes for an excellent anti-aging and sun protection in our face creams and serums.
A rich and healing moisturiser specifically formulated to nourish, protect and replenish your skin. It quickly absorbs to reduce fine lines and blemishes. Provides excellent UV protection whilst nourishing and hydrating your skin at the same time.
